I was trolled for not being married

 

Deborah talks about how she was blasted for not being married here are her words to the singles.

"When i posted my birthday picture last year someone sent me a message and said “Stop posting birthday pictures, go and find a husband”

Another person told me that it was because I was too loud on social media and acting too strong that I hadn’t found a man yet

What this person did not know was that I was married already and for all the programs I was organizing, my husband was my chief director and planing officer behind the scenes 

(As at January 2023, I was already legally married)

It hurt, I wanted to reply but I just kept quiet because I wasn’t ready to share that info yet

I think this is the best time for me to say

“Don’t let anybody despise your singleness”

Someone asked me yesterday about pressure and the truth is there is pressure about marriage 

Especially on women

I used to think I could not be pressured but there were times people said things to me directly or indirectly, sometimes even out of genuine concern and it made me start feeling pressured.

Everybody has their time 

The man or woman for you would come and God will make your own beautiful.

Go about living a fulfilled life. Your happiness in life is not in the hands or any person. Two happy people should come together and keep being happy 

Serve God with all your heart and strength 

Live and enjoy the life God has given you 

If your prayer is to settle down, God will answer you. Keep praying and trusting 

God is not partial. He will answer you!
